There is a 2% Surcharge for payment by Credit Card (VISA, M/C. Discover only).
We do not accept PayPal payments for this auction unless approved before the auction, There will also be a 4% surcharge added for PayPal payments.

Bank Wires have a $15 charge added and the buyer is responsible for additional bank charges and currency conversion charges.

We accept U.S. based checks, money orders, cashiers checks and U.S. cash.

Payment is expected in 7 days
unless previous arrangements have been made. If the buyer fails to contact us 2 weeks after invoicing, we may void the sale and suspend the buyers bidding privileges. We will be happy to extend terms with good references, but they need to be taken care of before the auction.

Bidding Methods: 
A.  Absentee Bidders (Fax, emailed and Snail Mail) - Please bid early, since tie book bids go to the earliest bidder in the book and take priority over floor and internet bidders.
B.  
ATTENTION:  TIE BIDS GO TO THE BOOK, NOT THE FLOOR OR THE INTERNET. IMPORTANT BIDS CAN ALSO BE LEFT WITH US DIRECTLY OR WE WILL BE HAPPY TO CALL YOU FOR LIVE PHONE BIDDING FOR ITEMS OPENING AT $200 OR MORE.

  1. Bids can be faxed to 1-201-871-4345 or sent by email to info@archivesinternational.com up to 11:00 PM, the night before the session you would like your bids executed in.
  2. Last minute bids emailed or Faxed after the 11:00 PM deadline may possibly not be executed on time.
  3. Live Phone bidding is NOT AVAILABLE for this sale. Please call us at 201-944-4800 or email us at info@archivesinternational.com to leave bids or if there is an emergency. Please send us accurate phone numbers.  
  4. Bids can be mailed, BUT PLEASE CALL TO CONFIRM RECEIPT. WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BIDS SENT BY MAIL AND NOT RECEIVED IN TIME. 
  5. You can bid Live Online with our Internet Bidding Portal "ARCHIVES INTERNATIONAL LIVE"  and participate in real time as if you are in the auction room or had an agent bidding for you.

*Each agent charges a small percentage of gross successful purchases. Please call them ahead of time to find out what the charges will be, since you will be responsible directly to them for this fee if you are successful in your bidding.

Bidding via Live Internet bidding. This auction will be conducted Live and on the internet.


There will be an 15% Buyer's premium
added to all successful purchases that are Bid through our online bidding platform or by absentee bids directly to us. (There is a 20% BP for Invaluable Bidders and AuctionZip bidders).
